Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative @Universal

The Baby-friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) is a global effort launched by WHO and UNICEF to implement practices that protect, promote and support breastfeeding.  

In line with this, Universal Hospital - Al Ain conducted the first of a series of 4 workshops, accredited by HAAD, from Aug 10-12, 2017.  The other three are scheduled tentatively to be held in October 2017, December 2017 and February 2018.

A live discussion was done after every session where the participants could ask questions to clarify their doubts regarding the discussed topic. 

The CME involved interactive workshops and activities for participants to give them more hands-on training on the related topics.
